5 Tips to increase Your TikTok’s Success
Below is a TikTok I made for my client Dew Tour during their recent winter competition in Copper Mountain, CO. This is a simple edit where I only did a few important things to help increase the visibility, watch time and engagement of the TikTok edit. Below are 5 simple steps I took to help increase the likelihood of my TikTok being successful:
1. Turned on TikTok’s “Enhance” feature to increase the vibrancy of the clip and make it more aesthetically pleasing.
2. Added a “viral” song from TikTok’s commercial/royalty free music library.
3. Geotagged the location of the contest so people searching for content from the contest can more easily discover my clip.
4. Tagged the relevant accounts (Dew Tour, Copper Mountain + Mountain Dew) to allow them to see and potentially repost my TikTok.
5. Added text explaining what this TikTok is about in the first 3 seconds of the edit to grab people’s attention and make it less likely for them to scroll past my edit.
