TikTok’s “Sounds for Business” Collection

58% of TikTok users say they discover new brands and products on the platform. 44% of TikTok users say they immediately went out to buy something they discovered on the platform.

When a brand uses a song a user likes, 68% of users say they remember the brand better and 62% of users say they are more curious to learn about the brand.

TikTok created their “Sounds for Business” collection (located in the Commercial Music Library) to help businesses create fun and engaging content to help them stand out. Sounds for Business can be used in both organic and paid content to help highlight a product, engage new audiences, etc. The sounds in this collection consists of a mix of music, voice over and other directional sound cues.

Unfortunately, the commercial music library is more limited, but as a TikTok business account you want to be classified as a business in order to access the more in-depth analytics and so you don’t get sued in the future if an artist or record label finds that you used a non-royalty free song or sound for a post promoting your business’s service and/or product.
